Orbit hop pellets. NZ - Crop 2012 (AA 5.4%) Bulk price (450gm+) = $7.50 per 90gm
ORBIT are a blend of hops specially selected out of the New Zealand “Hops with a Difference”
breeding programme. Stringent selection processes and long term growing trials can result in some
really excellent hops being rejected on agronomic performance or other plant management issues.
These hops are selected on their unique aroma and flavour characteristics as well as their brewing
quality. The hops may be grown in very small plots at the New Zealand Plant and Food Research
Centre in Riwaka or in larger selected trial gardens across the region.

Orbit are not suitable for long term NPD strategy where flavour and aroma consistency are required
as they will always have variations due to the make-up of the hops we select. Orbit is however
excellent for seasonal or specialty beers where the brewer may be looking for a unique New Zealand
signature aroma or flavour twist.
